Michael Smith

Spent 4 years in the USAF doing classified work - stationed in Misawa Japan and San Antonio, Texas
Spent 33.5 years with E-Systems Inc later bought by Raytheon Inc doing classified engineering. Worked in Alice Springs Australia for about 10 years and worked the rest in Garland Texas (suburb of Dallas) with extended working projects in Denver and Harrogate England.
Retired in 2011 and have spent time hiking the Grand Canyon as well as some peaks in Colorado.
Went to Paris and Normandy for 25th wedding anniversary 2014.
Took a couple of cruises to Alaska (2015) and the East Caribbean (2016) - fun!
Eldest daughter Chelsea married a great guy Jake on April 20, 2018. Visited them when they were living in Zurich Switzerland.
Life has been good.

My stepfather was in the USAF so...
Went to three different high schools before graduating:
2.5 years at Belton High School near Kansas City Missouri
0.5 years at James Connelly High School in Waco Texas
1 year at Shorecrest

Spent about year at the University of Washington before joining the USAF.
Trudged through night school while holding down a full time job at E-Systems and completed my Bachelor's degree in Mathematics at the University of Texas at Dallas. Graduated with honors.
